Authoritative preaching requires an authoritative text.
Last night Pastor Jeremy preached from John 1 – the authority of Christ as creator/sustainer. What an awesome message. So grateful for Pastors who unwaveringly present the gospel message from a solid, biblical, position with the authority of their Master.
And it happened, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His doctrine. For He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
